Back to School with From The Bronx
Hey there, folks! Can you believe it's September already? Back to school season is upon us, and it's got me and my brothers reminiscing about the good ol' school days when our biggest worries were figuring out our outfits and getting our homework done in time for class. It's funny how this time of year can trigger a wave of nostalgia.

Our parents were 100% school champions. For us, the school year meant afternoons chained to the kitchen table, textbooks and notebooks strewn about, as we completed our homework. Dad was always there to help us if we needed it and Mom was cooking a few feet away constantly telling us to "quit f*cking around" and to get our work done.
This afterschool ritual got all 3 of us from elementary school and middle school through high school and college. Memories!

One thing that school taught us, besides algebra and history, was the art of being organized. It's a skill that has stuck with us throughout our lives. As school became more intense, we quickly realized that keeping our papers in order and having a plan for assignments/deadlines, made life a whole lot easier.

What do you think of when you think of organization? FOLDERS! Those trusty, pocketed lifesavers. With that in mind, this school season the team at From The Bronx has been on a mission to donate our Bronx POW! Folders to schools and organizations across our borough.

We’ve already donated over 1,000 folders to backpack giveaways hosted by New York City Council Member Amanda Farías, New York State Senator Gustavo Rivera and Fordham University and to schools including the Careers in Sports High School and Bronx Arts & Science Charter School.

We take great pride in being able to contribute in any way we can to the education of our youth and hope that something as small as a folder can help students stay organized and succeed in their studies.

So, as we gear up for another school year, let's remember the importance of education, the lessons we've learned, and the value of staying organized. And if you come across a trusty folder, give it some love because it just might be the key to a student's success. Here's to a fantastic school year ahead!
