Happy New Year 2022!

Happy New Year 2022!

It's 2022!! Isn't that wild?

When I think back, 2021 almost feels like a lost year. It feels like the back end of 2020 instead of its own separate time. A second year of COVID with ever-changing restrictions on what we could do and how we could gather. But then when I put on my Positive Specs (patent pending) and focus on the good, I see 2021 as a year of accomplishments. A time when we made real changes to how we live and how we work. That's when 2021 becomes real to me.

On a personal note, the most significant change in my life is that I traded binge-watching Netflix for binge-watching Discovery+. Isn't that funny? I think it is!

It's also a reminder that I've always been interested in learning about real people and how they navigate life's challenges. A trait that's evident in how we run From The Bronx and how we execute our mission to show the world what our borough has to offer.

On the business side, we spent 2021 completely reinventing From The Bronx. We revamped our website from tippity top to biggity bottom, developed brand new Bronx-themed products and forged exciting new relationships! We brought From The Bronx's website and communications into the 2020's with a focus on positivity and creativity. And the community response was overwhelming! We quadrupled the amount of merchandise sold and the amount of people we've met in 2021 than we did in 2020. It's been so successful that someone ought to film a reality show (that hopefully airs on Discovery+).

With all of that said, I'd like to start off 2022 by saying THANK YOU to all of our supporters, friends and fans both in The Bronx and beyond. Our resolution for 2022 is to keep on creating and sharing our creations with you!
