Friends of Pelham Bay Park Appointment
At From The Bronx, "to The World" starts with taking care of home. And few pieces of home are bigger, literally, than Pelham Bay Park.
We're proud to share that our co-owner Anthony Ramirez II joined the Board of Directors of Friends of Pelham Bay Park in November 2024. It's a role that sits right at the intersection of everything we care about: The Bronx, its history, and the green spaces that make this borough one of a kind.

If you've never wandered its trails, here's what you should know: Pelham Bay Park is the largest public park in New York City. It has more than 2,700 acres of woodlands, salt marsh, and shoreline tucked into the northeast Bronx. That's roughly three times the size of Central Park. It's home to Orchard Beach (The Bronx's "Riviera"), along with hiking trails, the Lagoon, historic landmarks, and some of the most important coastal habitat in the city. It is, simply, a Bronx treasure.
Friends of Pelham Bay Park is the volunteer group working to protect and improve all of it. They advocate for the park, organizing stewardship and clean-up efforts, partnering with NYC Parks and the City Parks Foundation, and making sure this corner of The Bronx gets the attention and investment it deserves.

For us, joining this work is a natural extension of the brand. We've spent years putting Bronx pride on t-shirts, pins, and tote bags, but pride means showing up, too. It means rolling up your sleeves for the places that make The Bronx "The Bronx" and yes, occasionally hosting the Friends of Pelham Bay Park happy hours at The Bronx Beer Hall.
So consider this both an announcement and an invitation. Come see the park, get involved, and keep your eyes on this space, because we have a feeling there's a lot of good work ahead.
From The Bronx to The World!!
