From Classroom Decorations to Bronx Celebrations: A Huge Thank You & Inside Scoop from The Bronx Times' Life & Style Section
HUGE THANK YOU to Manuela Silva for featuring From The Bronx in The Bronx Times’ Life & Style section.
Have you ever wondered how a simple quest for classroom decorations turned into a celebration of The Bronx? Well, cue the spotlight on the Ramirez brothers at From The Bronx!

Back in the day, co-founder Anthony Ramirez II was working as an after-school teacher and craved more than just Bronx Zoo or Yankees posters for my classroom. Turns out, his students weren't exactly enthusiastic Bronx boosters. Their dreams mostly involved growing up and getting out of our beloved borough. Challenge accepted!
In 2006, From the Bronx was born with a mission to reintroduce Bronxites to their roots and to show Bronxites (especially our youth) why they should be proud of where they’re from. Fast forward 17 years, and we're now creators of everything cool – from clothes to mugs and posters. We’ve even started other Bronx-based companies, all with a mission to celebrate The Bronx, its history and its people.
