Planning a Milestone: Senator Gustavo Rivera’s 50th Birthday Celebration!

Did you know that the From The Bronx team provides consulting, branding, and event strategy under our parent company, Mainland Media? We specialize in helping clients bring their unique visions to life, and recently, we had the distinct honor of doing just that for a true Bronx champion.

We love The Bronx, and we love celebrating the leaders who fight for it every single day. That's why we were incredibly honored when New York State Senator Gustavo Rivera hired the From The Bronx team to plan his 50th Birthday Celebration and Fundraiser!

Turning 50 is a massive milestone. For a leader whose passion, heart, and dedication have inspired so many, we knew we had to throw a party that matched his energy.

We poured our hearts into every detail to ensure the night was perfect. We handled everything from activating the space with custom lighting and decor to designing a cohesive theme that celebrated Gustavo's legacy. We even booked a live band specifically for the Senator to perform with! The festivities kicked off with an intimate VIP hour at Mae Mae Cafe where guests sampled some of the Senator's favorite rums and Mayor-elect Zohran K. Mamdani stopped by to wish him well.

The main celebration was hosted at Great Performances, the legendary Bronx-based catering company. They brought their signature culinary excellence to the night, while we ensured the bar was stocked with beer sourced by The Bronx Beer Hall. It was a beautiful night of partnership and camaraderie.

Of course, no From The Bronx production is complete without a proper after-party! We moved the festivities over to Bar 47, where the drinks continued to flow and we fueled the crowd with legendary slices from Mario's Pizza & Italian Homemade Cuisine.
