Tie-Dye on the River: Gearing Up the Bronx River Flotilla 2026!

Did you know The Bronx is home to New York City's only freshwater river? Every year, the Bronx River Alliance celebrates it with the Bronx River Flotilla, sending a fleet of canoes and kayaks paddling down our borough's wildest natural treasure.

This year, we were honored to suit up the whole crew. The From The Bronx team produced 325 custom tie-dye t-shirts for the 2026 Flotilla. Each one unique, just like every stretch of the river. After working on the Flotilla gear last year, getting the call to do it again was the kind of repeat business we love most: the kind that comes from community.

And because no Bronx celebration is complete without refreshments, The Bronx Beer Hall supplied the beverages for the post-paddle festivities on May 16th. Paddle hard, celebrate harder.

A huge thank you to the Bronx River Alliance for trusting us with their gear two years running, and to every volunteer who keeps the river clean, green, and paddleable. If you've never seen the Bronx River up close, the Flotilla is the perfect reason to fix that next spring.
