Privacy Policy - Pressly

Effective date: April 20, 2026

Who we are

Pressly ("the app", "we", "us") is a Shopify app developed by Mainland Media LLC d/b/a From The Bronx ("the developer"). This policy explains what data Pressly collects, how we use it, and your rights as a merchant.

Contact: support@fromthebronx.com

What we collect

When you install Pressly, we access and store the following data from your Shopify store:

  • Shop domain and installation session tokens (provided by Shopify OAuth)
  • Product and variant metadata (titles, SKUs, product IDs, variant IDs)
  • Inventory levels and location data
  • Order metadata from orders/create and orders/cancelled webhooks, specifically: order ID, order name, line items (product and variant references, quantities), fulfillment status, location ID, and order creation timestamp
  • App-specific configuration you create within Pressly (component definitions, product mappings, stock thresholds, notification preferences, production locks)

What we do NOT collect

Pressly does not collect, store, or transmit customer personal information. Specifically, we do not access:

  • Customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, or shipping addresses
  • Payment information or billing details
  • Customer behavioral or browsing data

Orders are processed by reference to line item quantities only. Customer fields present in Shopify webhook payloads are ignored by the app.

How we use data

We use the data described above solely to:

  • Maintain component-level inventory tracking for your Print-On-Demand products
  • Automatically deduct component stock when orders are placed
  • Restore component stock when unfulfilled orders are cancelled, subject to the production locks you configure
  • Sync derived stock levels to your Shopify product variants
  • Send low-stock email alerts to addresses you explicitly configure
  • Operate the app, prevent abuse, and fix bugs

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or analytics beyond what is needed to operate the app.

Who we share data with

Pressly uses the following third-party services to operate:

  • Shopify: platform of record, provides the APIs and webhooks Pressly reads
  • Fly.io: hosting provider for the Pressly application
  • Neon: managed PostgreSQL database provider for Pressly's storage
  • SendGrid (optional): transactional email provider used only when you enable low-stock email alerts. Emails are sent to addresses you configure, typically your own staff.

We do not share your data with any other third parties.

Data storage and security

All data is stored in encrypted PostgreSQL databases hosted by Neon. Network traffic between Pressly and Shopify is encrypted via TLS. Webhook signatures from Shopify are verified before any payload is processed. Access to production infrastructure is limited to the developer.

Data retention

We retain the data described above while Pressly is installed on your store. When you uninstall the app, we retain your data for 30 days to support reinstallation without data loss, after which it is permanently deleted. You may request immediate deletion at any time by emailing support@fromthebronx.com.

Your rights

As a merchant using Pressly, you may:

  • Request a copy of the data Pressly stores about your store
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Uninstall the app at any time from your Shopify admin

We will respond to any such request within 30 days. Contact support@fromthebronx.com.

International data transfers

Pressly's infrastructure is hosted in the United States. By using the app, you acknowledge that your data may be processed in the United States.

Children

Pressly is a business-to-business application and is not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to the contact on file for your Shopify account, and the effective date above will be updated.
