¡Bienvenidos! Spain Comes to The Bronx
From The Bronx to The World isn't just our slogan. Some weeks, the world comes to us.
This week we had the honor of welcoming two groups of visitors from Spain to our borough. First, in partnership with NYC Tourism + Conventions and Aviareps, we hosted 11 Spanish travel professionals for a familiarization tour of Bronx Little Italy. These are the people who design itineraries for Spanish travelers visiting New York, and we wanted to show them what every Bronxite already knows: no trip to NYC is complete without a stop in the boogie down.

The tour kicked off at Joe's Italian Deli with a fresh mozzarella demonstration (yes, it tastes even better when you watch it being stretched by hand), then wound through the legendary shops of Arthur Avenue before wrapping up exactly where these things should: with a cold one at The Bronx Beer Hall.

And the Spanish love didn't stop there. We also spent an afternoon with writer Dagmara Ole and photographer Crojo from Descubrir, walking Arthur Avenue together. Not as a tour, but as neighbors showing friends around the block. Keep an eye out for their feature, bringing The Bronx to readers across Spain.

A huge gracias to our partners at NYC Tourism + Conventions for continuing to shine a light on Bronx tourism. The Bronx has always been a global borough, and we love every chance to prove it.
From The Bronx to The World!!
