The Official Merch of a Bronx Legend: Our Evelina 100 Pop-Up!

Some titles you earn, and some titles get bestowed on you. This past weekend, we received one of our favorites yet: "the official merchandise of Evelina 100."

On March 14th, the From The Bronx team set up a pop-up shop at WHEDco's Evelina 100 program, celebrating the life and legacy of the one and only Evelina López Antonetty. If you know your Bronx history, you know Evelina was a force of nature: an activist, an organizer, and a champion for Bronx families whose impact is still felt in every corner of our borough.

That's exactly why we partnered to create the Evelina100 Collection, a line of merchandise honoring her legacy. Getting to share it with the very community she fought for, surrounded by people carrying her work forward, is what this brand is all about.

A special thank you to Joe Conzo, Jr. for trusting us with his Grandmother's legacy, and to Elena Martinez and the whole WHEDco family for having us. After the event, Elena sent us a message we'll be framing: "you guys are the official merchandise of Evelina 100!" We proudly accept the title!
