Carrying Hunts Point Pride: We Designed the Totes for the Southern Boulevard BID Hunts Point Walking Tour

Some of our favorite work never makes it to the shop, it goes straight into the community. This week is a perfect example.

We designed and printed the custom tote bags for the Loving The Bronx and the Southern Boulevard BID's Hunts Point Walking Tour, a "Celebrate Spring in the South Bronx" stroll happening this Sunday, June 27, from 10AM to 1PM (meet up at Oak Street Health,1024 Westchester Ave., next to the Historical Bronx mural ). Everyone who comes out to explore the neighborhood gets to carry a little piece of Bronx pride home with them.

If you don't know the Southern Boulevard BID (SOBO BID), you should. They promote the growth, vitality, and visibility of one of the South Bronx's premier commercial corridors, working with the small businesses and property owners that give Hunts Point and Longwood their flavor. It's a stretch of the borough packed with history, culture, and some of the best food in the city.

This one's especially close to home for us. Our team has worked alongside the SOBO BID for a while now, and getting to put our design touch on their walking tour totes is the kind of neighbor-helping-neighbor work we live for.

So if you're free Sunday, lace up your walking shoes, come learn the stories of Southern Boulevard, and grab a tote while you're at it. We'll see you there.
