Save the Date: "The Bronx, Crucible of Liberty" Opens July 1st!
Radicals. Runaways. Revolutionaries. The Bronx has been producing all three since before America was America, and now there's a permanent exhibit to prove it.
In celebration of America 250, join The Bronx County Historical Society, From The Bronx, and The Bronx Beer Hall on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at 6pm for the grand opening of "The Bronx, Crucible of Liberty: Radicals, Runaways, & Revolutionaries, 1600-1850", a new permanent exhibit at the Museum of Bronx History.

This one is personal for us. As part of our America 250: The Bronx partnership, we've been working with the Historical Society all year to help bring the borough's revolutionary story to life, and seeing it culminate in a permanent exhibit is something special. This isn't a pop-up or a temporary installation. This history now has a permanent home in The Bronx.
The exhibit covers 250 years of the borough's earliest and boldest chapters: the radicals who challenged power, the freedom seekers who passed through our hills and farmlands, and the revolutionaries who helped forge a nation.
Mark your calendars for July 1st, bring the family, and come thirsty for knowledge (we'll handle the rest). We'll see you at the museum!
From The Bronx to The World!!
