Nevermore Night Market: An Evening With Poe at Poe Cottage
Last Saturday, October 24, The Bronx County Historical Society hosted its Nevermore Night Market + Literary Salon at Edgar Allan Poe Cottage, and it was an incredible night of music, readings, performances, and local vendors. We had our From The Bronx merch, The Bronx Beer Hall brought the mocktails, and of course we dressed the part to pose with Poe himself.

Dressed the part, with Poe himself. The From The Bronx table, stocked and ready.
Readings, Performances, and Poe
Poe spent his final years right here in The Bronx, and wrote "Annabel Lee" in this very cottage. There's no better place to spend an October night reading, listening, and celebrating his work.

A reading at the Literary Salon.

Feathers, velvet, and plenty of black. The Nevermore crew.

Poe, home on his porch after dark.
Thank you to The Bronx County Historical Society for having us, and to everyone who came out in their best gothic attire. Want a tour of Poe Cottage? Visit The Bronx County Historical Society for more info.
