The Boogie Down Goes Upstate: Bronx Day in Albany Returns!
They say you can take us out of The Bronx, but you can't take The Bronx out of us. On March 10th, we put that to the test and brought the whole borough upstate for the return of Bronx Day in Albany, back for the first time in nearly a decade!
Hosted at the Albany Capital Center, Bronx Day in Albany brought together Bronx business owners, community leaders, and elected officials to make sure our borough's voice was heard loud and clear in the state capital. A huge thank you to The Bronx Chamber of Commerce and President Lisa Sorin for including us in such a special day.

The From The Bronx and The Bronx Beer Hall teams were set up all day, sharing Bronx merchandise, stories, and plenty of borough pride with attendees from across New York State. We also teamed up with our friends at Great Performances, the legendary Bronx-based catering company, to coordinate 300 snack bags so nobody networked or sampled our delicious beer on an empty stomach.
And now for the news we're still buzzing about: The Bronx Beer Hall was honored with a 2026 Bronx Day in Albany Change Maker Award! The award recognizes Bronx-based businesses, nonprofits, and entrepreneurs making meaningful contributions to the borough's economy, workforce, and communities. Each honoree was nominated by a Bronx state legislator, and we are deeply grateful to New York State Senator Gustavo Rivera for nominating us to represent his district. Being recognized alongside 16 other incredible Bronx institutions at the Business & Cultural Showcase was an honor we won't forget.

That wasn't the only proud moment of the day: our co-owner Paul Ramirez took the stage for the Cost of Doing Business panel, breaking down the real challenges (and real opportunities) of building and running small businesses in The Bronx. Nobody tells that story better than someone living it every day.

The day was packed with energy from start to finish, including remarks from Governor Kathy Hochul herself. And we couldn't have asked for better attendees. Our co-owner Anthony Ramirez II is a proud member of Community Enterprise Accelerator (CEA) Cohort 3, and his fellow cohort entrepreneurs were out in full force, networking and connecting with business owners from across the borough and beyond.

Events like this remind us why we do what we do. The Bronx isn't just a place on the map. It's a movement, and on March 10th, that movement rolled right up the Hudson.
From The Bronx to The World!!
