On April 10, 2024, Anthony Ramirez II, co-founder of From The Bronx, hosted the Friends of Pelham Bay Park's Spring Fundraiser: Past, Present & Future, celebrating community, conservation, and the preservation of New York City’s largest park. The event honored Liam Kavanagh, Angelo Rubbo, and Barbara Dolensek for their dedication to the park, spotlighted William Murray, winner of the photo contest, and even featured a lucky raffle win by Jeanette Ramirez, Anthony’s mother!

Anthony & Paul Ramirez, two of the brothers behind From The Bronx and The Bronx Beer Hall, had the incredible honor of stepping onto the Yankee Stadium field to celebrate the New York Yankees and BXEDC’s Bronx Beat, an online series highlighting The Bronx’s iconic institutions, businesses, and landmarks. The experience was a surreal reminder of their Bronx roots, and they’re grateful for the opportunity to represent their borough on such an iconic stage.

As a NYC Tourism Board Member, he highlighted the importance of elevating The Bronx’s presence in the city’s tourism landscape, reinforcing how borough-specific storytelling contributes to NYC’s larger tourism goals.

From The Bronx had an incredible evening at Accion Opportunity Fund’s Business Accelerator Networking Event! What made it so incredible? We got to take a break from work and spent a few hours chatting up awesome entrepreneurs from across all 5 boroughs. The evening was a mix of mingling, learning more about the Impacto Hispanic Business Accelerator, and catching a fireside chat with Accion Opportunity Fund’s CEO Luz Urrutia and Chef Grace Ramirez (no relation, but still awesome). What a night!
