The Garabedian Family Christmas House has officially retired, leaving us all wondering, “Where can we get our festive glow on in The Bronx?” Fear not, holiday-light enthusiasts, we've found the answer at Bartow-Pell Mansion!
Picture this: A historic house museum tucked away in Pelham Bay Park (895 Shore Road to be exact) and primed to be decorated in holiday fare. This year, they've turned the sparkle up a notch with Holiday Lights – a dazzling array of trees dressed to impress by local residents. We're talking about a tree extravaganza that would make Santa's elves do a double-take!

Just in time for the holidays, From The Bronx is proud to announce our new collaboration with Bodega Bloom!
Bodega Bloom is owned and operated by Kimalisa Medici, a true Nuyorican born and raised in The South Bronx. A lover of working with her hands, she has a background in art and hairdressing. Yarn is her current medium and she uses it to make original, made to order rugs.

Last week our friend, our brother-from-another-mother, our "long lost cousin" Jeremy Evan Rosario Torres passed away. There are no words profound enough, no blog good enough to explain how this feels. Life is fragile.
Rest easy, Jeremy. You'll always be in our hearts. ❤️
Friendly reminder, From The Bronx is more than just a business. We’re committed to promoting the rich history and culture of The Bronx and that includes working with like-minded, mission-focused businesses like our friends at Grace & Lamb!
Grace & Lamb is rotted in celebrating cultures, creating community, and experiencing nature. All under the umbrella of faith and grace. Each garment they design and produce is threaded in rich storytelling and patterned in unapologetic boldness!
